Overview Shell-integrated MC cartridge, an improved version of the FR-7. It uses a unique push-pull power generation system with a 2-magnet, 4-pole magnetic circuit.This system generates power at four points, so that a large output voltage can be obtained even with a low-impedance coil. In addition, although the general system generates canceled current in the generator circuit, the FR-7fs magnetic circuit can generate positive output in the opposite direction even in the region where canceled current occurs. This improves the phase and crosstalk characteristics as well as the electrical conversion efficiency, resulting in higher output power. A samarium-cobalt magnet is used as the magnetic circuit material.
