I recently had this speaker installed in one of my Fender Champ 5F1 builds. It sounds absolutely amazing, every bit as good as a stock original speaker, and a nearly identical production from Jensen as well, in the same era (late 50s). It has zero buzz, coil rub, or any other kind of undesirable noise. It sounds leagues better than any modern reproduction 6 speaker for a Champ, imho. Measures 3.2 on my meter, which is within the ideal range for a speaker rated to 4 Ohms. I will ship UPS Ground or USPS Priority, no later than 1 business day handling time (business days are M-F). Upgrade your Fender Champ Amplifier with this vintage 1950s RCA USA Tube Set. Includes one used RCA red tip (selected low noise) long black plate 1956 12AX7 (at over 82% of minimum new spec and not microphonic), one used 1950s smoked glass 6V6GT (at 101% of new spec and not microphonic), and one used RCA black plate 1955 5Y3GT rectifier (at about 88% of new spec which is still considered a strong reading). All were made by RCA in the 1950s in the USA and all were tested on my calibrated TV-7. And I tested them all in an amp together and they sound great. Guaranteed good. Returns accepted. Fender Champ Vintage Tube Set RCA 12ax7a 6V6GT 5Y3 Great Tone All USA made RCA’s. Tested on my Hickok 752. The 6v6 tests 850/575–beyond NOS. The 5Y3 tests strong at 500/400 on both plates . The Silvertone branded RCA made 12ax7a tests 83 on both plates (strong range) on my B&K 667. (12ax7s don’t test well on the Hickok). You will be thrilled with these tubes. Buy with confidence. here is a project that i have had for many years. i have to hire out my electronics work. there is no one out there i trust anymore on this type of work. so here it is. its a turntable ,Motorola Golden Voice. made in the 1950s, and hand wired. the tube layout is very close to the the Fender Champ black face, or early 70s silver face amp. has six tubs, two 6v6, 6au6,12au7,12au7, 5y3gt. the turntable worked before i separated the parts. it powered up OK. the needle was worn out. i could rub the end of needle and get sound. i have not powered it up since i tore it down. will need a on- off switch along with other things i guess. sold as a project and not working. electronics no-how is a must for the new buyer. notice that you are getting the face plate and control knobs plus some wires as pictures. will make a great Fender Champ like tube amp when finished. 50.00 shipping to lower 48
