These use audio grade components and an updated circuit based on the acoustic Butterworth filter developed for the KEF 104ab. The new crossover also allows biwiring which would need additional connectors to be fitted to the speakers. My partner has a pair of similar HFA transmission line monitors with the same drive units and we can confirm the new crossovers will make a considerable improvement to the sound quality – in fact upgrading hers was the reason I went looking for these and I’m only selling them because I had an opportunity for a different upgrade which made these surplus.
