For sale are 2 woofers that was taken from a working ESS Performance Series Speakers. The woofers do not have part number imprinted on them. They were newly re-foamed and working like new. The measured resistance across the terminal is 3.0 ohms.

This DAC worked well for me over the years with a balanced headphone setup but Im in the process of downsizing some of my audio equipment and it makes sense for this to move on. I wanted a quality balanced DAC that was well rated and this one fit the bill. Includes the remote, original box and power cable. Aesthetically its pretty good but does have some scratches on one side in particular- see picture where I tried to capture it. Outside of whats listed it will not ship with any additional cables and the batteries have been removed from the remote. This would be a nice, quality DAC to support a good balanced headphone amp and headphones although I also used it single-ended and that worked as well. I used this primarily on a Mac where no drivers were required; you may need to download some on the PC.

For purchase, a gorgeous set of ESS Heil 4ohm woofers and factory passives. The surrounds were just replaced with open cell polyether foam, and the cones are very clean. The radiators are original to early and later ESS 12 builds. Resistance measurements of the woofers are 3.2 and 3.3 respectively. The rich sonics incorporated in the original bextrene cones should be considered essential to the overall sound of your ESS speakers. Utilized in several models of amt1(x), these are drop-in ready for models such as amt1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, and amt Monitor, including all bookshelf variants of those models. These are factory original 12 drivers by ESS of Sacramento. These drivers were optimized for the specific dividing networks and cabinet offerings that were available during the production years of amt1b, and amt monitor tower builds. Modern replacements (from ESS) are not engineered to be coupled with amt drivers, nor your existing crossover networks where applicable. No testing or sampling has been performed with the new, generic paper woofer drivers provided by ESS, currently. Packing will be very stout, expect these to arrive as advertised.
