TOTL Neotech NES-3001 UP-OCC speaker cable 2x2,2 m (2x7 ft) Stereo pair of Neotechs great ultra pure (UP) copper speaker cables.This is top of the line all copper speaker cable in Neotech’s range. This pair is terminated with Furutech FP-201 (rhodium-plated pure copper conductor) spades. Used, but in very good condition. Signs of use on spades - please see pictures. Description: The Neotech NES-3001 joins the brands wide range of high-end loudspeaker cables. Its unique design allows it to participate in the restitution of both warm and deep sound, notably thanks to an efficient PTFE insulation of the conductors. The cable has no less than 16 insulated conductors: 6 red, 6 black and 4 transparent. Each conductor, made of single crystal UP-OCC copper, has an external diameter of Ø2.1mm and an internal diameter of Ø1.1mm, for a section of 17AWG (1.04mm²) per conductor and a total section of 8AWG (8.37mm²). These individually insulated conductors are then braided around a PVC core and covered with a braided nylon sheath. These conductors are made of monocrystalline UP-OCC Copper, specially developed by Professor Ohno. This ensures an extremely high purity of 99.99998%. It thus offers maximum signal conductivity for high-precision sound reproduction. Neotech has long been a leader in producing wire and cable using single crystal UP-OCC Copper, developed by Professor Ohno of the Chiba Institute of Technology in Japan. UP-OCC copper is at least 99.99998% pure, and has an average crystal size of 125 meters. Compare this to the average crystal size of Oxygen Free Copper, which is .02 meters (3/4). UP-OCC copper and silver are considered the ultimate in copper and silver conductor technology today.
