Only selling because of moving, and will be sad to see them go. I cannot believe the build, and sound quality of these incredible speakers. I maybe just got near or past the break in period. Absolutely equal quality to speakers at twice or more the original retail price. I believe these are discontinued. They are rated at 100 WPC into 8 ohms. They were never driven hard, and used only in a dry smoke free room. My loss is your gain. Give them a good home! I will ship in the original packaging, and include the grills (never opened), and the foam port plugs. While most reviews recommended using them when they were too close to the wall (as they are in my room), I preferred the sound without them. A pair of modified (repaired) vintage Energy ESM-4 Bookshelf Speakers. Sold as is. Both tweeters were replaced (same model but the tweeter cone color are different).Both crossovers were modified.Forms of the both 6.5 woofers were refoamed recently. One woofer cant play very loud (sound distortion will happen when it is played very loud). After repair and modification, they sound much better than original ones when play low to medium volume (loudness). If you dont play very loud sound, then they are very good buy.
