I am the second owner of this set of speakers. It is a great starter set for a small 5.1 set-up. I used them for several years until I upgraded to a set of JBL speakers this year. The piano black finish is in very good but not perfect condition. All of the speakers and subwoofer are in good working condition and used recently. The grills are in good shape with no holes or broken pegs, and all of the 5-in-1 binding posts have their caps. The system can play loudly but the satellite speakers do not have a lot of low frequency bass, so integrating the subwoofer into the room is an important part achieving a balanced sound. These are unpowered speakers which require an AVR or stereo amplifier connected with wires to power. The 5 speakers are the front left, center, and right, and two rear surrounds. I used the speakers as a 2.1 system with my computer during endless MS Teams calls during covid and they sounded great. From a smoke free and pet free house. The piano black veneer is a little loose on the back of the center channel. You can glue it back down if you want, but if you leave it alone, it is perfect as is. Great set!
