ENERGY HOME THEATRE SYSTEM EC-200 CENTER CHANNEL SPEAKER. If you're in the market for very well made, sonically truthful speakers, then the Energy line is one that should be considered. Particularly, if you can acquire the speakers from the 90's, you'll be getting well crafted speakers (yes, these were ALL Made in Canada when Energy was under Audio Products International in Scarborough, Ontario). Nothing against Klipsch taking over the Energy brand, but it's not the same quality when it's not Made in Canada. Back to the EC-200, the range is impressive with frequency response 45Hz-22kHz and up to 150RMS. Sensitivity is perfect at 90dB and the mid-range tonality is superb with these specs. Vocals from movies are seamless and the presence is ambient and crisp. Some minor wear and tear on enclosure and grill cover but speakers sounds great and handle plenty of power.
