Class D amplifiers mostly arent known for audiophile quality, but these really do it. I tested them recently and compared them to the traditional Class-A monoblocks that Im using now, and they compared very well. A little less depth and clarity than the big amps, but very close, at a whole lot cheaper price. And, compared to an older Conrad-Johnson high power class A/B audiophile amplifier, these are better. They have enough power to drive demanding speakers, even ones with impedance as low as 2.5 ohms.
