ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2 Bookshelf Speakers, Black (Pair) Very Good.

Speakers are in pristine condition. They have a neutral and pleasing sound: they are relaxed, but not boring,they are smooth but dont lack detail.Before these, I had a pair of JBL530 with a Marantz amplifier and these steal the cake by sounding more natural. If placed in the right position in the room, they image really well. In my room, they have too much bass so I keep EQ in the back at -4db. The bass sounds nicely controlled and its fast when the bass is fast, and extended when needed. There is a lot of texture in the sound that I have not heard from the JBLs or some old pair of Kef LSX version 1. They are very good at teasing out the differences between different DACs. They sound really good with Chord and Geshelly Labs DACs in my new untreated lively room. When doing OpAmp swapping with the Geshelli Labs DAC, I could easily pick up the differences between different OpAmps. Selling them due to downsizing. Shipping in lower 48 states.

ELAC Debut B6 Bookshelf Speakers. In great condition. Two minor cosmetic details: slight scuff on top of one speaker - barely visible in top-down picture (last pic before carton pics); and minor indents on front bottom of both where I had sorbitol sound isolation pads - visible in last 2 pictures (I was not aware of that until I was taking these pictures - I never noticed while they were in use). Complete with manual and all original packaging materials, and treated with loving care while in use. These speakers were designed by the renowned Andrew Jones and I absolutely love them - arguably the best small speakers Ive ever owned (and at the risk of dating myself, there have been many). I admit Ive been holding onto them for a few months since I replaced them with another pair costing more than twice as much, as Ive honestly had some buyers remorse. I think the B6s may actually sound better - as the new ones are breaking in, they are approaching the same level (I think!), but if I had it to do over I probably wouldnt have spent the money on the new pair... Anyway, you wont be disappointed!
