As the photos show, this vintage amplifier is relatively clean for its age and appears to be all original. The amp uses a pair of 6BQ5 tubes, a pair of 12AX7 tubes, and a 12BH7 tube and a 5U4 rectifier tube (included ). Although the amp is working when disassembled they are being sold as-is, as-shown, for parts / repair. This amp come exactly as shown in the photos. All plugs/connectors and tubes are included. This listing is for one pair of output transformers removed long ago from a forgotten EL84 amplifier. They are single secondary of 8 ohm impedance. According to the date codes, they were built by Transformer Manufacturers Inc of Chicago, IL in May of 1963. Hookup is pretty simple: green and black are secondary; long lead is B+ and 2 remaining shorter leads are plate connections. While the plate leads are shorter than the B+ lead, they aren’t necessarily short – see pics for details.
