Low and weak tubes are unceremoniously thrown in the nearest trash can, unless they are collectors Items. When using the word “Matched” it means in test results rather than in cosmetic looks. Whilst I endeavor to put tubes together from the same year and look the same, this is not always the case. I may have the same tube but from differing years matched up in test results, which means they may cosmetically or internally look a little different... The numbers/letters in parentheses are Equivalents put in to help people to find the correct tube. If it does not say MATCHED then please do not consider them to be such. I use a TV7/U military spec Tester which is calibrated . I have 4 of these machines and all display a slightly differing value if I test the same tube, as two testers are never the same. So this shows what I get, and what you get may be slightly different. So all test results are a guide only.I also use a Hickok 752 /800/600 or Amplitrex AT1000 for testing All tubes have passed the Gas and short tests. This tube tested great on a reliable Hickok 800A tube tester (a mutual conductance tester). Here is the reading in micromhos: 3600. ...and no shorts or gas detected. Ref: Minimum readings should be 1620 micromhos and new tubes should test at 2700 or more micromhos. This tube tested well above new tube specs. Item is one unmatched lot of Zenith and International 6BA6 EF93 vacuum tubes in their original boxes. These tubes are new old stock and have been tested and are good. All tested tubes are at least GOOD on my Superior Instrument tube tester (most 7, 8 or 9 pin tubes) or meet the minimum strength on my U-Test-Em drug store tester (most other tubes). If a tube is labelled as untested, it is because I do not have the necesssary equipment to test it. All tubes that dont meet your expectations can be returned regardless of their test status. Sets of vacuum tubes labelled as pairs, quartets, sets, etc, came to me grouped together or labelled as such. My tube testers are not sophisticated enough to guarantee that all sets of tubes are fully matched correctly. Listing lots of valves. These were all found in the loft of my father in law who repaired Radios and Televisions from the late 50s. He also worked at Ilford films and then Main Systems as an electrician. He took great care with these items. They have been in a loft for many years and the boxes are dirty with soot. I am taking them out of the boxes for the first time to list.
