I am reluctantly listing my MCD-7000 CD player. The player still reads the disc and sounds great for random time periods then the music is very jittery. Lately it has exhibited some unusual characteristics. Along with the jitters some of the front key functions do not work as intended. Sometimes the drawer opens on power on or if some other button is pressed. The original manual and original remote are all in like new condition and are included. I very seldom used the remote. The wood cabinet (also in excellent condition) is not included but is available in another auction. Shipping is $42.50 and within the USA only. Works but needs service. The video shows the unit working and being controlled with the remote.

By a popular demand,I am adding four pictures of internals of this DAC. Internal switch is set to 4x oversampling, but you can change it to 8X oversampling(dont ask me to do it,it is already packed and ready to go). Hello. Cleaning out some equipment I have accumulated over the years and no longer use. Here is for sale is one true audiophile DAC made by Enlightened Audio Design (E.A.D.), model DSP-7000. It is 20Bit DAc with user selectable x4 or x8 oversampling (requires opening the unit and changing the switch). If you really like your music to sound analog as oppose to digital and as close to vinyl sound as possible, this one is for you. This one is a non tube DAC which sounds like tube DAC. Yes, it is vintage but still performs excellent, just the day it was produced and I love the sound but have no use for it anymore.As you can see it is very clean unit for its age (just check the pictures as they are the part of description) with only few very minor scuffs or nicks at the edge of faceplate and a tiny smudge on top cover, one cannot see them from few feet away. It has RCA stereo out as well as digital out to connect to the DAT recorder or such. Digital inputs are: one Digital Coax RCA input, one optical TOSLINK and one very rare optical ST input for glass type fiber optical cable (it will give you the best sound if your transport has such output and it is on par with AES/EBU type of connection which is superior to regular TOSLINK and Coax). If you dont have ST type output on your transport, dont worry, regular Coax is the next best thing.The front panel features input selector and a phase inversion option, as well as some indicators lights: Lock will turn green when there is incoming signal, Err will turn on if there is a digital error in the incoming signal, and Dem will turn on when there is for de-emphasis (more on that in the included manual). Stand by light is always on,and you just need to press power button on the front to start. Unit is for 120V. Everything works as it should but this unit being a vintage piece of equipment is sold strictly AS IS, guaranteed not DOA. All my equipment comes from my extensive collection. You are bidding on one Epson Pro L1200U 7000 lumen laser projector in good overall used condition. Cosmetically, it is in moderate condition with minor scratches and scuffs, especially on the sides. Scratches are especially hard to photograph on the white plastic - This projector has no lens. This projector was taken from an academic environment where it was regularly serviced. When plugged and turned on the on/Standby blue light comes on as it should. No further testing done. There is no remote control. This projector comes without lens. However, it comes with a power cord. This projector works fine.
