Dynavector DV10x5 MKII High Output MC Cartridge - Opened Box, as new condition. I sourced this from a local dealer about 18 months ago after trading in a mark 1 DV10x5 but later decided to stick with a low output MC (Hana ML). If you’re reading this, you know this is the second generation high output version of a very well regarded Dynavector cartridge which can be used straight into a MM phono stage or an amplifier with a phono input. It is affordable Dynavector, if you like. The cartridge would be a great buy for someone who is looking to step up from a good, but not great, MM who has the technical knowledge to install their own carts, who is attracted to the Dynavector smooth and detailed sound and build quality, and washes to save some money on new. I had the original mk1 version on a Roksan Xerxes 20 plus and it was a very enjoyable and addictive sound. The DV10X5 MK2 should work well on Rega and Roksan arms. I found I had to go considerably upmarket to better the original version. The cartridge has not been detached from its anchoring cradle and the box has been stored carefully since purchase so there is no wear or tear or handling to report. The accessories pouch is still sealed and all I have done is take the holding cradle out of the outer box to take some auction pics. So the cartridge is in unused and perfect condition with all accessories and packaging is as new. Please do study the pics and research the manufacturer specs (and independent reviews online) before bidding as cartridges do need to be placed within the context of your Hi-Fi system and also fitting confidence / ability.
