I purchased this from an authorized dealer on eBay ( Soundscapeaudiovideo )and he told me it was New old Stock, but the threads for the head shell were stripped, and the seller was a D&c% about it so I just sent it in directly to Dynavector to have it serviced. Below is the email I received after they serviced it. Your cartridge ships back to you via UPSI re-tapped the head block mounting hole threads. They were definitely damaged. I also included new, correct mounting hardware and allen wrench. Cleaned and inspected the stylus- it looks good, now. I checked impedance of each channels coil and they measure correctly, no shorts, etc. I also included warranty card and manual.It should play fine, now. So, this is what you are getting. I dont know if it was ever mounted or played, but it looks like new. **Look at the pictures, what you see is what you get. The item is being sold as is with no returns. If you dont want it dont bid.

This is a Dynavector 20x2 low output MC cartridge less than a year old. The cartridge itself has less than 50 hours. I recently sent the cartridge to the amazing Joseph Long (Groovetickler) for an upgrade to a boron cantilever and Fritz Gyger FG2 nude Diamond ($500 service). This was a remarkable improvement over the original setup, with improvements in lower end weight and deeper soundstage, among others. I’ve put well less than 10 hours on the retip. While this cart was away for the retip I overspent on new cartridges, so it’s time to sell off a couple pieces. I genuinely hate to let it go, but I need the money. Dynavector 10X3 High-Output Moving Coil Phono Cartridge - No Stylus.

Verkaufe mein Dynavector 10x5, da es mit dem Tonarm meines neuen Plattenspielers nicht harmoniert. Es handelt sich um ein High-Output-System, das an jedem MM-Eingang betrieben werden kann! Es wurde mit einem Shibata-Diamant retipped und ist seitdem erst ca. 80 Stunden gelaufen. Die Nadel / der Diamant ist also so gut wie neuwertig! Durch den Shibata-Diamant ist die Auflösung in den Höhen erheblich besser als beim Original, die Mitten sind weiterhin sehr farbig und der Bassbereich druckvoll und konturiert. Der neue Diamant hat obendrein den Vorteil, dass er eine erheblich höhere Lebensdauer hat. Ich habe es an einem DUAL CS 721 betrieben und sehr viel Freude damit gehabt. Es läuft sehr gut an Drehern mit mittelschweren Torarmen von z. Bsp. Dual, Thorens, Technics usw. Technische Details gibts auf dem letzten Bild.
