Up for sale is a pair of Dynaudio D280 tweeters in good working condition. Both hemispheres are in perfect shape w/o any dents. However, some dusts are attached on them. Please carefully check the photos for their conditions. They were pulled from a working pair of Audience 52SEs. I guess they were produced around 2004 or later. Also, their ferro-fluid was replaced in Dec. 2021 (Ferro Tec). The tweeters were sounding nicely to my ears, however, I do not have any instruments to examine the performances. This is your opportunity to own a pair of authentic Dynaudio Esotar-class tweeters at a bargain price. These were stored as backups and mounted for a very short time for testing. Every bit as indistinguishable as the original T330D Esotars, and tweeters used in high-end speakers like the Sonus Faber Extrema, Electa Amator, Guarneri, and Olympicas. These are Danish-made tweeters that come from the factory, with factory boxes (i.e.; authentic Dynaudio spare parts). Do not mistake them from the China knock-offs which have the smaller negative-pole pins and SPL performance are inferior. Comapred to vintage Esotars, these are guaranteed to have new voicecoils that will give many years of impeccable performance. Newer Esotar-class Dynaudio tweeters use much stronger neodymium magnets as indicated in the low-profile magnet structure in the photos and special voice coils. These are NOT recommended for automotive use (typically, dynaudio automotive speaker drivers use a more-sustainable glue which one has to wonder how that affects frequency response other than being tweaked to compensate for higher noise levels.)
