Denon DVD-3910 DVD Player. If you are looking at this, then you know what it is. This Denon has had the Denon Link 3rd Generation upgrade even though the Denon Link port in the back states SE ( Second Editon ). When you go into the Menu and click on the Digital Output section for the Denon Link, you have the choice to select Denon Link 2 or 3. Great feature if you have a Denon Link 3 AVR. This allows for the full bit for bit digital transfer of the DSD signal on all your SACDs. This unit has been in a box most of its life. I just hooked it up a couple of weeks ago to confirm it is still working. It plays all formats this unit is suppose to. It sounds phenomenal and plays everything perfectly. The analog stage sounds warm and detailed with an exceptional sound stage. The only issue that I have found, is that when you open the tray, sometimes it wants to close immediately. Not sure what that is all about, but have looked online and people have said there is a sensor or controller that probably need to be sprayed with contact cleaner. The unit is in near MINT condition with only a few very small blemishes. Only to be seen upon very close examination. The remote is not the original, but functions 90% of the unit. The battery cover is broken, so you will have to tape it so the batteries wont fall out. Comes with power cord and a COPY of the Owners Manual. This listing is for a denon dvd-3910 dvd/cd/sacd player in great cosmetic condition. I am only listing It for parts or not working because when I tried sacd’s in it it played some and some it didn’t. I only have 4 sacds. It played 2 just fine. It wouldn’t read the others. It plays dvds and cds perfectly. I don’t know if it was an issue with the discs or the player. When a standard audio CD is inserted, the unit appears to detect the disk but does not recognize it correctly. The display shows what would appear to be correct for DVDs. I am no expert on this unit so I cannot guarantee that there is not some sort of setup or configuration problem. Denon DVD-3910 DVD Player. If you are looking at this, then you know what it is. This Denon has had the Denon Link 3rd Generation upgrade even though the Denon Link port in the back states SE ( Second Editon ). When you go into the Menu and click on the Digital Output section for the Denon Link, you have the choice to select Denon Link 2 or 3. Great feature if you have a Denon Link 3 AVR. This allows for the full bit for bit digital transfer of the DSD signal on all your SACDs. This unit has been in a box most of its life. I just hooked it up a couple of weeks ago to confirm it is still working. It plays all formats this unit is suppose to. It sounds phenomenal and plays everything perfectly. The analog stage sounds warm and detailed with an exceptional sound stage. The only issue that I have found, is that when you open the tray, sometimes it wants to close immediately. Not sure what that is all about, but have looked online and people have said there is a sensor or controller that probably need to be sprayed with contact cleaner. The unit is in near MINT condition with only a few very small blemishes. Only to be seen upon very close examination. The remote is not the original, but functions 90% of the unit. The battery cover is broken, so you will have to tape it so the batteries wont fall out. Comes with power cord and a COPY of the Owners Manual. Will be shipped only within the United States using either UPS or Fedex. Sold AS-IS due to its age. No Returns or Refunds
