This is a cleaned, fully tested and working SR-VS30U dual MiniDV and S-VHS/Super VHS/VHS deck. MiniDV and SVHS mechanisms both tested and working. Free shipping! A lot of these sell without the MiniDV working, this one does, with both S-VHS and MiniDV good to go! This went through a complete refurbishing to ensure both tape mechanics are fully functional. You’ll find a some scratches and scuffs on the case, but it’s just normal wear and tear. Nothing that impacts functionality. I tested this across ingest and output, digital and analog. The FireWire/IEEE fully works and the images in the listing show footage outputted and recorded via FireWire on both the MiniDV and SVHS. This is just a cool VCR. Easy to use and versatile. I’m particularly impressed at how well it plays old VHS tapes that I was able to easily digitize via its built-in Firewire/IEEE port. It even played OLD (and very worn) VHS tapes that I couldnt get to play in other top-grade consumer VCRs, and the playback quality was really good. The digitized VHS video looked excellent. For anyone looking to easily digitize old VHS and MiniDV tapes this would be near the top of my list (especially for a non-professionals because this is a little more intuitive than some of the pro deck options out there).
