The VHS playert function works great, but dvds are not read by this unit. The dvd tray opens fine, but after inserting the disc, the screen stays on a loading screen. As is.

The only issue I found with the unit is that on deck A is that when you hit the left side play button it will play but it will start to eat the tape. Most likely a belt issue.
