The CS 505-3s semi-automatic drive unit is easy to use. If you lift the tonearm into place over the record, the record will automatically start at the preset speed. The tonearm initially remains in the raised position, until you pull the lever to gently lower it. The record automatically stops spinning when the needle reaches the end of a record, and the tonearm automatically raises again.
