This would normally be a great player. I have another one which works fine, so this is surplus to requirements. When the unit is switched on and a tape inserted, the error CAUTION is displayed. The tape will not eject, so to remove the tape, the unit needs to be switched off and on and the OPEN/CLOSE button pressed before the error CAUTION is displayed. These units do like everything to be in perfect working order before they allow a tape to play, and are very precise in the way they work. There was a video on YouTube where the engineer fixed this problem, and similar players have the same problems and the same fixes. It didnt seem too difficult to resolve if you know the unit, or know an engineer than can fix it. I shall stick with the one I have that works.
