Offered for your consideration is a Dayton Loudspeaker Co. 1 inch dome tweeter, manufactured c.2000. This heavy magnet high frequency driver was sold by Parts Express and others for retrofit/replacement and speaker project duty. It bears no model number that I can see.So, please take a look at my large photos, the measurements, and read the remaining description to decide if this capable Dayton tweeter should be yours.*Although the listing is written in singular to avoid any confusion, two identical Dayton 1” dome tweeters are available at the time of this writing. This Dayton tweeter is in clean, excellent condition. It has a sturdy black plastic faceplate with no cracks, chips, or scratches. Plus, the radiating surface is dimple-free with just two tiny white dots on its surface detracting. Also, the sizeable magnet structure has a black plastic cap which adds a nice touch. And, the +/- terminals are color-keyed for polarity (red = positive) and have never been soldered on the spades. Overall, this tweeter is exceptionally well-preserved. Most importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds very strong and clear. Plus, I tested its DC resistance at 6.0-6.2?, consistent with a nominal 6-8 ohm nominal driver rating. Lastly, the faceplate measures 4?” diameter, it stands about 1?” tall (incl. raised dome), and the three mount holes are equally spaced at 3?” apart, c-t-c.As pictured and described, this Dayton Loudspeaker 1” dome tweeter is offered at a competitive price. SAVANT Pro Remote Multi Room Domestic REM-2000-00. Remote works great. It does have a very minor blemish to the left of the screen. It is not on the viewable screen part of the remote. The remote is factory reset and comes with the REM2000 remote, base station, and power cord.
