This Spectral Preamp was working great for my dad some years ago but now has issues. BOTH channels have power and audio but there is static and popping. Also the PHONO has a very loud hum that I can not figure out. You can here audio thru both channels are putting out audio. All inputs work but phono has the hum. Therefore I’ve decided to put this up here on eBay to see if there are any audiophiles who are looking for a fun project with this legendary piece of gear. I may try and fix it soon if it doesn’t sell but, currently I do not have time. Comes with the power supply and homemade 5-pin XLR cable. Works as it should but could be replaced. I have included pics of the interior so you can see how clean and beautiful it is on the inside. All original.

This Spectral DMC-10 preamplifier is a top-of-the-line device perfect for audiophiles who value high-quality sound. It has been in my collection for the last few years. I am the second owner of this one. Just time for the next person to appreciate this great preamp. Everything works as it should but just never liked that these didnt have a power switch. Guess it was better to control through monster power anyway. There are a few small blemishes on the face that are shown in the pics. I do believe there should be a blue light on the power supply. It is not working. Guessing it was a common issue since I have only seen a few with it still working. If you have any questions let me know. It will be packed properly.

For your consideration is a legendary Spectral DMC-12 preamplifier. This classic audiophile preamp comes complete with the original power supply, power cable, Spectral (by MIT) RCA cable and a built-in phono section. No original manual or box included. Overall, this set is in fantastic condition! Very, very clean and functioning as it should. There is one very small rub mark on the upper left side of the faceplate which is hardly noticeable. I have tried to show it in a close-up photo but it’s still hard to see. Other than that this piece looks almost new. Very clean inside too! EMOTIVA MPS-1 DMC-1 Seven Channel Amplifier + Preamp as is. The preamp works great but the amp is having some problems. It turns on for a second then it goes into standby mode with an orange light. It was working previously but now its not working as it should. When in standby mode it still plays music which is even odder and works as if though it were on.
