This a complete set of B&W DM 302s with a matching CC3 center channel. Im not sure if these originally were sold as a surround sound set but nonetheless they are all matching so they can be used for surround sound. They all work perfectly except for one of the bookshelf speakers, the tweeter doesnt work. I havent yet opened up the speaker to see if the wire came loose. They sound amazing and I was surprised by the amount of punchy and overall bass that these little speakers put out. I have 2 videos of them playing the same song for comparison, 1 with the perfect set and 1 with the bad tweeter. Overall as the whole package Id rate them a 7/10 cosmetically(see the pics and judge for yourself). The woofers are perfect except for one pushed in cone which doesnt affect performance and the obvious 1 bad tweeter. Im selling these along with other speakers I have listed and not yet to be listed. I have waaay too many speakers and Im literally running out of space lol. I have these listed locally where Id prefer to sell them so I dont have to box them(not fun boxing speakers) or pay for shipping fees. The Digital Monitor 302 is the model of worthily popular English company B&W. This is a sleek, compact (185x320x208 mm) two-way speaker system with the bass reflex in the form of a slit. The diffuser of middle woofer is dope-treated and has the diameter of 12,7 cm; dome HF-speaker has 2,6 cm. The recommended power of the amplifiers is 25-100W. The front and back panels of the speaker system are bonded by six spacers for rigidity, and the internal volume has the unique system of wedge-shaped absorbers. The developers aimed to recreate an anechoic box inside the volume of speaker system, in other words as if to open the sides of speaker system in order to get rid of unwanted standing waves and volumetric resonances, appearing in non-obtuse volume at middle and high frequencies. The result is good uniformity over the whole range. There is an appropriate gradual ascent through high frequencies: the cutoff frequency of -6 dB by level turned out to be even higher than stated by manufacturer. This listing is for a single speaker in excellent condition, and the drivers and crossover network for a second speaker which was damaged in an earlier shipment. All the components of the second speaker are in perfect working order. Im including the black ash case which is serviceable and the broken plastic parts. Can be used to replace parts in a non-working speaker or be used by a speaker builder to refurbish the second unit. The individual components are valuable and often sold for spare parts to repair over-driven or otherwise damaged units. The B&W DM302 is an excellent sounding speaker in the style of the renowned Rogers and Spendor speakers also made in England.
