Celestion Ditton 66 Speakers. Fantastic legendary speakers the 66 ! These are in great condition , they do have marks here and there but totally original,and sound fantastic . Love em but need to let them go , needs must ???? Collect only from wincanton Somerset. Will not pack for post in any way so don’t buy them if you can’t come and collect , and have a listen .

Reluctantly selling my b and o collection as moving to a smaller place. These are Incredible speakers. The same muds and tweeters as the ditton 66 but even better sound and looks in my opinion. Extremely detailed and realistic sound. All drivers working as they should. Crossovers have been recapped to exact spec. Cabinets in lovely condition. These are the series 2 5700s. They have the alnico drivers. Collection from colchester. Too heavy to post Im afraid. Thanks for looking.

The back of the speakers have been painted in black. The crossovers have been re-capped, new better wires added. Internal damping foam washed. The cabinets were properly sealed inside with glue. All the metal driver surrounds painted. Original grill cloths have been refreshed and re-glued. Collection from Chalfont St Peter prefered; or I could deliver, if not too far, alternatively I could leave it to be collected in Bolsover near Sheffield/Nottingham. Celestion Ditton 66 MK2 1977 Vintage speakers in a near mint condition. This is MK2 version with veneered front baffle. I bought these speakers in Exeter from a relative of an elderly couple who passed away few years ago. The front grills were probably not taken off since the 70. Ive checked the internals and it seems that the speakers were untouched and all components and cabinets have stapms and date codes from the same batch - for example woofers (T1600) FK 28, tweeters (HF2000) FK 29 (F - June, K - 1977). There is also MH 23 JUN 1977 stamped inside the cabinet. Ive left the crossover unaltered. The cabinets have been cleaned and lightly sanded, then refinished with Danish Oil. Ive sealed the enclouseres inside with wood glue and internal damping foams were washed. All the metal driver surrounds have been painted. The tweeters carboards and small metal grills were painted and re-glued to the face of tweeters.Magnetic strips added in place of long gone foam on the front baffle. Original grill cloths have been refreshed (washed) and re-glued. Collection (from Chalfont St Peter) only due to weight and rarity.
