Celestion Ditton 551 Crossover Working

Celestion Ditton 551, 140W vintage speakers with original boxes. The first owner bought them at the end of the 70 and he had to move to the US shortly after. The speakers have been stored in original boxes since then. The speakers sound amazing with all types of music, very bass heavy, warm & nice sound. Crossovers have been re-capped by HaycrossAudio: -Existing inductors tested and retained -Capacitor pads removed and boards cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. -New matching value ALCAPs fitted to woofer and midrange circuit. -Poly capacitors fitted to tweeter circuit to improve clarity and openness. A resistor is added to correct the change in ESR. -resistors replaced with higher power rating. -New high purity copper wiring added. The speakers grills have been replaced with modern acoustic fabric. The rear speaker binding post have also been swapped for Gold Plated Banana Terminal Binding Posts. Celestion Ditton 551, 3-way 3 driver speaker system. Really good sound especially lower frequency. In very good condition, bass driver, rubber mount & cone show no signs of age.no really bad marks any where, see photos. Marks shown are not deep scores, just very light scuffs, not really noticeable from a few feet away. Size 720 high 395 wide 328 deep. Frequency 38Hz to 20k Hz. Approx weight 25kg each. Bought as a pair, consecutive serial numbers 316531 & 316532 .Grill cloths in good order, see photos. I’ve had these from new, reluctant sale. I’ve been using these with my quad amp & controller ( also for sale ) all in really nice condition. A few grill pegs missing, but grills stay on very nicely, no probs. Collection only due to size & weight.
