Up for your consideration is this vintage Sony Discman D141 with original box/foam and power supply (headphones are NOT included with this listing). Purchased new as a gift for myself...enjoyed for years before being properly stored in smoke-free climate controlled environment. Lovingly preserved by our family as part of our eclectic life-long collection of oddities (check out my other listings for more unique and unusual finds!). Overall condition: USED but in good condition for age, materials, and intended use. This piece has light surface scratches in various places. Screen has some pixel damages/failure (looks link an ink spill inside of screen) as shown in photos, but still works and is still reasonably viewable/readable. Unit was tested with power supply prior to listing, as shown in video. Battery compartment is in good shape, as batteries were not stored inside. Buttons were tested and function (volume, mega bass, skip, pause, stop, hold, etc). Headphone jack was used for video sound and functions. Listing includes the original box and packing foam (minor damage to edge of foam-piece broken off), with wear shown in photos (some discoloration/fading on packaging and surface dents/scratches/rubs). HEADPHONES ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS LISTING (MIA). From a smoke-free home and stored in climate-controlled environment since new. Sony Discman D-141 Mega Bass Portable CD Player. I have tried testing it with batteries and it doesnt turn on or anything but this might be because the battery connectors are damaged as shown. It might work using a mains adaptor but unfortunately I dont have one to test it. Im not sure if that is the problem or not so I am selling this as FAULTY for parts or for repairs. Other than that it still seems to be in good cosmetic condition.
