EMOTIVA XMC-1 7.2 Channel AV Preamp/Processor 4K UHD DIRAC XLNT. Subject to prior sale on other venues such as CL. Really cool piece of gear and Emotiva’s first product fully designed and assembled at their Tennessee facilities. Would be impossible for me to go into every detail and bell and whistle this thing is capable of, but suffice it to say even now it is a very usable and capable home theater processor with full discrete outputs, most of the major formats and the HDMI 2.2 upgrade. However I did not originally obtain this unit for its theater uses, but rather on a hunch after doing much research on its fully differential balanced design, available room correction via DIRAC (which I did not actually end up needing to use) and the powerful built in parametric EQ. I also knew that Emotiva based much of the philosophy and architecture of the XMC-1 on their extremely well reviewed differential preamp line. This hunch ended up being correct as the XMC-1 not only hangs with much higher end standalone preamp, it outperforms many of them with a dead quiet background, excellent construction, and a beautiful OLED display. Considering it was connected to speakers many times it’s original retail MSRP ($2499), I would easily have been able hear shortcuts and shortfalls. Oh, and did I mention the remote control made out of solid metal? It doubles as a weapon. No box or microphone but will also include a power cord. It pains me to let this one go, but having gone back to an integrated unit, I don’t really have a use for it anymore. Excellent overall condition both sonically and cosmetically.

For sale is a gently used Integra DRX3.4 receiver featuring built in Dirac Live room correction software. Works great with a few minor imperfections noted here. The remote plastic door hinge broke and is being held on by tape. Remote functions normally. The original room correction microphone stopped working. Including is a working replacement by Sony. I had issues getting a firestick to sync with this device. Wasnt an issue since I just plugged it into the TV instead, but wanted to provide full disclosure of any issues I had with the unit. Purchased in August of 2019 direct from miniDSP. This has been a workhorse of a preamp for me. With all of its DSP capabilities and generous I/O I have been able to use it in various setups and it always performed excellently without a hitch. Sad to see it go but I have moved on. Used but mint condition NAD MDC2 BluOS-D module taken from an NAD C3050. This module features Dirac Live Room Correction and also stream dozens of channels via your home wifi. It also has BlueTooth so that you can connect your phones library. I tried the Dirac and it wasnt for me and I dont stream music so this module isnt really necessary for me. BUT, this module seems to be on permanent backorder so this is your chance to upgrade your C3050 sooner than later. Included are the module, the Dirac mic and USB adapter, the 2 antenna, the module install manual and Dirac quick start guide. You will need to use the 2 mounting screws that secure the cover plate to your amp to secure the module. According to NAD this unit is compatible with C 399 Hybrid Digital DAC Amplifier, C 389 Hybrid Digital DAC Amplifier, C 3050 Stereophonic Amplifier but please contact or research with NAD to confirm this is module is compatible with YOUR AMP.
