SUCH A DEAL. DENON S-301 DVD HOME THEATER SYSTEM. EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED (except the original box). MAIN UNIT, SPEAKERS, (including subwoofer) REMOTE CONTROL, OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS, (original big manual) ALL CABLES/WIRES (power supply cord, system cable, speaker cable (the optional extra-long set), video cable, wall brackets (attached to speakers). EVERYTHING INCLUDED IS SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS. ALL PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL ITEMS (except for the stock cover photo). I HAVE BEEN DOWNSIZING EVERYTHING AT HOME AND THIS IS NEXT ON MY LIST. I BOUGHT THIS SYSTEM NEW AND HAVE LOVED IT OVER THE YEARS. THE LAST 10 YEARS IT HAS BEEN USED VERY LITTLE. IT WORKS PERFECTLY AND SOUNDS FANTASTIC. THE ONLY FLAW I NOTICED LATELY IS THE DVD DRAWER DOESN’T CLOSE AUTOMATICALLY EVERY TIME. SOMETIMES I HAVE TO KIND OF TAP THE DRAWER, A LITTLE, TO CLOSE. IN OTHER WORDS… WHEN I PRESS THE “CLOSE” BUTTON, IT DOES CLOSE, BUT NOT COMPLETELY. SO I TOUCH THE DRAWER WITH A LITTLE PRESSURE TO COMPLETE THE CLOSURE AND IT THEN PLAYS FINE. MY GUESS IS THAT THIS CAN BE EASILY REPAIRED, IF IT BOTHERS YOU. PROBABLY, JUST SOME LUBRICATION OR SOMETHING WILL FIX IT. TIME SITTING AND DUST CAN DO THAT, SO I’VE BEEN TOLD. IT IS SUPER CLEAN. IT LOOKS LIKE NEW. NO SCRATCHES, DINGS, DENTS OR ANYTHING. IT’S BEEN IN A NON-SMOKING AND NON-PET HOME. I DON’T KNOW WHY THEY DON’T MAKE THESE ANYMORE. THEY ARE PERFECT FOR A SMALL HOUSE OR APARTMENT. ACTION MOVIES SOUND FANTASTIC, ESPECIALLY WITH THE SPEAKERS WELL SEPARATED. PLENTY OF “THUMP” WITH THE HEAVY SUBWOOFER. I TOOK MY TIME WHEN I FIRST SET UP THE SYSTEM AND DID EVERYTHING PERFECTLY. WIRES, CABLES, SPEAKER SET UP, ETC. I HAVEN’T MOVED ANY OF IT SINCE. I HAD MY TV RIGHT IN BETWEEN THE TWO SPEAKERS (each about 8 feet away), MOUNTED ON THE WALL AND THE SUBWOOFER ON THE FLOOR ABOUT 6 FEET FROM THE TV. ANYWAY… LOOK AT THE PHOTOS. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. THE PARCEL IS EXTREMELY HEAVY (mainly because of the subwoofer), WHICH OF COURSE CAUSES THE POSTAGE TO BE HIGH. ITS ABOUT 65LBS. AND MEASURES ABOUT 23X15X18. IT IS VERY CLOSE TO THE POST OFFICE MAXIMUM WEIGHT. THIS IS WHY A PICK-UP, OR HAND DELIVERED BY ME, IF NOT TOO FAR, IS THE WAY TO GO. I LIVE IN NORTHEAST LOS ANGELES.
