The unit powers up, the drawer will open and close as it should, but with a cassette in the drawer, the drawer needs a hefty push inward before a cassette will load. (With the lid off, there is a bar over the cassette drawer which is not pushing the cassette down far enough). The cassette will play with a cassette in place, but it is chewing up the tapes. The fast forward and rewind functions work as they should. Cosmetic wise, excellent condition at the front, some very minor markings on top, the display works fine - the unit is fitted with a standard UK 3-pin plug.
