I am a vintage stereo tech.This came in partially disassembled.The main board was un-attached.I re-assembled it and tried it and it appears to be working fine.SO, who knows what the story is on it.Maybe they were going to re-cap it. Who knows? The cover is broken and the power button cover is missing. I AM SELLING THIS AS PARTS OR REPAIR since I dont know why it was tinkered with when I got it. I will overpack it for shipping.

This turntable has been fully tested and operates flawlessly. Cosmetically it’s about as close Mint as you can get. Id rate it a 9.8 out of 10. The only sign of use I can even find was some very small hairline Marks on the dust cover. Mostly because it’s spent almost its entire life packed away in its box. (Please see detailed Pics) I had purchased 2 with the intention of setting another room up but decided to use Thorens I rebuilt instead. The only time I really used it was five years ago when I recorded a few records on to reel to reel tapes. The turntable will be properly disassembled and and double boxed shipped.
