Got this in 2019 while I was on assignment in Minneapolis. When I returned to Californiam I stored it in a closet for a couple of years as I did not need it. Now the turntable no londer works properly. When pressing Start the tone arm wanders around and cannot find the start of the record. The speed also seems to be way off. It seems that this is caused by a voltage problem due to one or more bad power supply caps. (Common problem for aging Denon turntables.) As I do not need this turntable I decided to sell it for repair/parts. I did get it to play a record by setting the tonearm weight myself (way forward) and placing it on the record. However, none of the conrols work properly and the speed was off (too fast). I removed the bottom cover and took a picture to show that all parts are present and nothing is broken. Cosmetically it looks pretty good for a used unit, with a few scratches/scrapes on the dust cover. It has a Nagatron 340s cartridge. Not great, but ok. It will be disassembled and packed properly for shipping, but local pickup is always welcome. Any offer will be considered.
