Up for sale is the tape deck in the photos. The unit powers on but is untested and sold as is. The unit in the photos is the exact item that will ship. Only exactly what is in the pictures is included. If its not in the photos, its NOT included.

It powers on and plays tapes however the motor is making a awful sound when playing on the A side. The B side sounds good. It sounds as if something needs to be oiled, or possibly the belts need to be replaced. But with that being said, I have no idea what is wrong with it.  Other features for example: charging the tape speed, fast forward, reverse, etc, all seem to be working good.  There is one other minor issue. The bottom of the faceplate is a little bit loose. To clarify, the faceplate has a lip on the top and bottom. This lip overhangs from the unit slightly. The lip at the top is secure however, at the bottom you can pull it outward slightly. This would not be and issue in most cases. It could be an issue if someone pulls too hard on the faceplate. I will try to demonstrate this in the photos.  In addition, there's one screw on the side that is not screwed in all the way, which is evidence this unit has been opened before. I am not the original owner. To clarify, there's nothing wrong with the screws, I'm just telling you that the unit has been opened before. Free shipping
