OK, have this home theater powerhouse which I need to re-home :-) I bought it from A4L (accessories4less) as factory refurb 3 yrs ago. IT HAS AN OCCASIONAL MALFUNCTION. In the past year, while in use, it has switched to the Audyssey setup screen accompanied by loud thumping in the speakers. The best way I have found to recover is simply power off a few seconds. It may not happen again for months, sometimes weeks. I have found from online research that some others have had similar issues with related Denon models. One possible fix suggestion was to leave the Audyssey setup microphone plugged in and I am trying that for the past week. Thats it- otherwise its in great shape. So if you can put up with this or find a fix it could be a good deal. I purchased this Denon receiver from Amazon a few years ago. Last year I bought a new receiver because I needed more channels for an Atmos setup(that Im still putting together). Its been well taken care of, kept in a climate-controlled nonsmoker home. I included a pic of it with my setup before I installed my new receiver. Included is the SPK618 HDMI Adapter. This was one of the first HDMI 2.1 receivers and as such it has a known bug with certain HDMI 2.1 features. Denon fixed this with the Denon SPK618 HDMI Adapter. This is plugged into the 8k port to provide true HDMI 2.1 features for that port only. Its an amazing receiver! The audio is so clear and LOUD! I hope whoever buys it loves it as I did.
