It turned out to be everything I was anticipating, and more.The processor has twelve channels for the main zone (there are two additional zones for other rooms). There was a power amp that went with it, also $7500 MSRP of which i do not have . Recently pulled from a high end residence. I was told it was working fine when removed. I passed signal from my cable box to my TV and the picture came right up. It does not come with all the accessories like AM or FM antenna. It has very minor scratches on the sides. It does come with a Middle Atlantic shelf kit for rack mounting. It weighs 59 pounds and the shelf kit is 2 or 3 pounds so in a double box it will be about 67 or 68 pounds, estimated. I am just outside San Francisco so shipping to LA will be about $110 and to Miami will be about $190. Plus shipping insurance.

For sale is my Denon AVP-A1HD A/V Processor. I assume if youve arrived at this listing, you know what you are doing and will have some idea of this amps reputation. This was very highly praised by all of the major review outlets, including What HiFi, Home Cinema Choice, and HiFi News. I think I am right in saying that this model remains the only fully balanced A/V processor ever built. What can I add to the reviews? It is simply enormous - it dwarfs my 7 channel power amplifier. It generates a lot of heat - the literature released by Denon suggests the pre-amp stages are Class A biased. It weighs an absolute tonne. It has a dizzying array of connections and setup options. The stereo performance is very good by A/V standards, but the multichannel performance is simply sensational and, I think, probably the equal of the Anthem D2V which I previously owned. The main problem with this model since its release has been inadequate heat management. If you search on Google, you will find extensive discussions about this online. The previous owner of this unit decided to take matters into his own hands and install two extra fans to keep the internal environment at a lower temperature. In order to make space for those two fans, he removed the network card, wifi card, rear USB input, and the 12v trigger array. This is clearly visible in the photograph of the rear panel. He kept the circuits boards for all of these, which I have, so if you were minded to, you could re-install them, however, because of the Class A biasing, the amp does run very warm and the fans do a very effective job of keeping the internal environment sufficiently well ventilated. As such, I would strongly recommend leaving the amp as it is and continuing to use the two additional fans. It is important that you understand and accept that this amp comes without any networking functions or 12V trigger arrays. In all other respects, it operates perfectly. It comes with the original remote control and the Audyssey calibration microphone. Otherwise, the condition I would describe as good. There are very minor scuffs on the front fascia that I have tried to capture in the photographs. The remote is in good - albeit not pristine - condition. It does not come with the original box, and thus, this is strictly collection only from Oxford. It may be possible for us to arrange for the amp to be collected from London, or we may be able to deliver at petrol cost within a reasonable distance of Oxford.
