Cabinets only for LOCAL pickup. As mentioned in the title, these are only for parts as they are not fully functional. I bought them in a bundle and had them in the basement with my collection for a while. When I finally got the time to fire them up and give them a listen, I realized the subwoofer frames were cracked(not pictured)...even worse, when I fired em up, the tweeters werent working at all and only 2 midranges worked correctly. ALL the tweeters are not working. Unless these are known for bad tweeters it is unlikely they all dont work as that would be extremely rare. I will be posting a link to a video of them playing when I have the time. When I tested the amps, the first one I hooked up to a Vega sub(4ohm) worked. I turned up the volume a bit(not a lot) and I heard a loud pop that scared the shit out of me! First time that has EVER happened in my life and ive tested a looot of speakers in my life, including pushing them to the limit and never had an amp fail on me. It was likely a capacitor popping. Then, when I hooked up the 2nd amp, it popped the second I hooked it up to the sub without any volume. Very, very strange. These speakers are truly an anomaly for all these problems I mentioned, unbelievably rare for all the problems from 1 speaker. Anyways, Ive seen the amps alone go for $125 each in working condition. I can fix them myself but dont have the time. Its likely a single capacitor that needs replacing, cheap and easy. The buy it now price will get you both amps, 4 tweeters/mid ranges, and the socks. You can send me an offer and specify what exactly you want. If you buy it now and dont want everything, let me know what it is you do want. I have them listed locally for $50 for the entire towers. Definitive Technology CS9080 center channel speaker in good condition (adult owned, non-smoking home).The Amp + input board, 8 Woofer and Grill sock fabric have just been replaced, there is less than an hour of use on the new amp/woofer. The new amp came straight from Definitive Technology with no serial number (as seen in the picture). It is plugged into power as you can see in the first picture, notice the D logo is lit up on the front.Cosmetically, there are some small scuffs on the silver side rails and one of the side caps has a small hole in the fabric (the hole is about the size of the eraser end of a pencil, its not very noticeable). None of the cosmetic issues alter the functionality/performance of the speaker.We are only selling due to buying the new Definitive Technology DM30 center channel. This CS9080 performs exceptionally well, its a very dynamic center channel speaker (likely the most dynamic performer you will find at this price point). It was the performance of this center that encouraged us to purchase the, much larger, DM30 center. These powered centers simply cannot be matched by most passive centers when it comes to dynamics.
