This is a powerful midsize speaker. I still use a couple in my setup but don’t need this one anymore. The reason the price is low that I believe that the woofer occasionally makes a flap sound. It is not often and only at certain low frequencies. Everything else works as it should. I’m not even entirely sure it is a problem with the speaker or just source material / receiver. Please see the photos for its condition, which is overall very good except a few small tears in the speaker cloth. Feel free to make an offer.

Local pickup only. Original owner, extremely well-kept, zero blemishes. These are efficient speakers with an even frequency response and strong bass from the side radiators for their size. After years listening on these, they have often surprised me at how good they can sound. They sound good on a desktop and in a medium room for TV and movies. Mine are easily the cleanest pair of these speakers I’ve seen for re-sale. They’ve been stored in their original box for the past 3 years or so. Factory matched pair of Definitive Technology Studio Monitor 450 Bookshelf Speakers. Both speakers sound great, and all drivers are working properly. These have the passive radiators which increases low end reproduction The cloth covers are in very nice condition with no tears I can see. The lacquered wood tops have some scuffs and scratches which are hard to show in pictures. The bottom wood panels have some nicks and scratches, but most of that is hidden. Overall, the speakers present very nicely and still look great. Wonderful sounding with a much bigger bottom than you would suspect from a bookshelf speaker. Very musical top end and pleasing reproduction, even at loud volumes. Usually shipped the same day of purchase, always within 24 hours of cleared payment.
