Decca Sound Compact 3 complete with 2 speakers and original stand. This has a record deck and a radio deck. the radio has support for FM 88 to 108 MHz, MW (Medium Wave) 198 metres to 550 metres, SW (Short Wave) 19 metres to 50 metres and LW (Long Wave) 1000 metres to 2000 metres. This is sold for part or not working with the following KNOWN faults: Crack in the top plastic cover (see close up pic) The AM - FM radio band selection button is STUCK The power on - off button is STICKY. The AM frequency needle and frequency knob does NOT move. There are POSSIBLY other faults as We have NOT tested this unit as we have not plugged it in a wall socket so we do not know if it will play records or play radio. NB: The record that is currently on the turntable is NOT included in this listing. The Stand allows you to mount the speakers underneath or you can remove the screws to then position the speakers further apart. The record deck is able to play 16, 33, 45 or 78 rpm records and also to play discs of 7 inches, 10 inches or 12 inches diameter. This is a VINTAGE item and makes the basis of a great restoration project.
