The die-cast aluminium platter is reworked and precision balanced in an extra step to obtain an evenly spinning platter. It is anti-magnetic, allowing MC cartridges to work properly.

Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable - Gray w/White Acrylic Platter Mat. I am the original owner, and have used the turntable sparingly over the past several years. The turntable is in excellent working condition and in overall good cosmetic condition with some scuffs and scratches mostly on top of the dust cover. The original Ortofon Red cartridge body failed post warrantee and I replaced it with an Audio-Technica cartridge. I have the original Ortofon Red Stylus with probably less than 50 hours playtime and can give it to you for no extra charge, but you would have to buy another cartridge body for approx. $75 in order to use it. I have the original box and packing, but do not feel comfortable shipping the item, so it is available for local pickup only.
