This remote has been in use for years, has expected cosmetic flaws but works with this exception: The 2 and 3 button often will not take. Sometimes the 1 button will stutter too. We most often asked for channel 132 so maybe we wore them down! All other buttons we used work fine. The receiver (VIP211k HD) was also working fine until after recent power flickers from the electrical grid it quit powering up. The remote and the receiver have been paired a long time, I throw the receiver in for free. If you are a tinkerer maybe you can revive it or use the parts. If you need only a remote buy it and throw away the receiver. Also including original manual for the receiver & a flyer about the remote.
