For sale is a NON-WORKING Cambridge Audio DacMagic Upsampling DAC. The audio output of the device is intermittent with bad distortion and crackling. This is a relatively common problem with these from what I have seen when it began doing this. I replaced one bulging 470uf capacitor, but it did not resolve the problem. I then re-installed the original capacitor, planning on attempting to repair it later on but no longer have the time to do so. Again, the DAC is NOT working, exhibits distortion and crackling noise from the output. Therefore the item is being sold as-is for parts or repair.
