Die Pro-Ject DAC Box S FL wurde nur wenig benutzt und ist technisch und optisch quasi neuwertig. Mittlerweile ist dieser besondere DAC recht rar und selten zu finden. Mit Original- Netzteil und GAW. -Nichtraucherhaushalt-Mit der S FL können aus zu analytisch, kühl, ausdruckslos, steril usw. klingenden CD- Playern richtig musikalische Kandidaten werden.Der Neupreis lag bei 200 Euro. Es gibt/ gab auf dem HiFi- Markt wesentlich teurere DACs und High End CD Player zu kaufen, die ebenfalls filterlos und ohne Oversampling arbeiten, ebenfalls bestückt mit TDA 1543 . Klanglich sind sie alle sehr ähnlich. Ich weiß wovon ich rede, da ich schon seit über 40 Jahren ein HiFi- Mensch bin. Die S FL macht richtig schön und gut Musik, hat durchaus einen analogen Touch, sehr musikalisch! Das Konzept der DAC BOX S FL basiert auf dem Originalformat der Audio-CD, (d.h. 16bit und 44,1 kHz) mit einer maximal übertragenen Audiofrequenz von 20kHz. Die DAC BOX S FL verwendet 4 TDA 1543T (Philips) DA-Chips im parallelen Dual Differential Mode, was hohe Präzision und sehr geringe Verzerrungen im hörbaren Frequenzbereich unter 20kHz garantiert. Das extrem niedrige Klirrspektrum unter 20kHz ist dem von Röhrenverstärkern sehr ähnlich. Die SMD-Ausgangsstufe ist direkt an DA-Wandler gekoppelt, um beste Ergebnisse zu erzielen. Beste Ergebnisse werden erzielt wenn die TDA-1543 bei höheren Temperaturen arbeitet. Für einen sicheren Betrieb werden deshalb effiziente und hochwertige Kühlkörper verbaut, um die Wärme „sanft“ abzuführen.
