This Philips D6920 MK2 is a stereo cassette deck, it was first sold by Philips in 1985 and discontinued 7 years later in 1992.The main features of the Philips D6920 MK2 are: 2 heads, mechanical 3 digit tape counter, manual tape type selection and capable of handling normal and chrome tapes, belt driven single-capstan transport.Typical of this deck is the 70s top loading layout with the cassette compartiment located on the right side of the deck. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well which is opened by a damped mechanism.Level meters used on the D6920 MK2 are analog needle VU reading meters. Full-logic transport controls used on the D6920 MK2 let it respond to the slightest finger contact for fast and effortless transport function selection. Playback speed may be adjusted with pitch control. Cue and review can be used to easily and quickly locate the beginning of a passage.To make live recordings this deck has 2 microphone inputs to connect microphones with a jack connector. For undisturbed listening a jack connector for a pair of stereo headphones is supplied. PHILIPS D6920 MK2 II STEREO PORTABLE CASSETTE TAPE PLAYER / RECORDER.- Partly Working This is a semi-professional cassette tape play/recorder that served me very well back in the 80s and 90s. It still plays cassette tapes fine, but fast forward and rewind dont work - you can hear the motor running, but the tape doesnt move at all. It may be that this can easily be fixed - I dont know. I also havent attempted to record on it. It comes with its removeable carrying handle so that it can be carried on a shoulder. Theres no microphone with it - the original one wasnt very good and I used a different one, but no longer have it. The machine will run on mains - lead included - or it will run off 6 C (or R14) batteries which are not included here. It is clean, though somewhat dusty, and has few signs of wear, mainly to the transparent window above the cassette, but these do not impact on its use. There are various inputs/outputs including two microphone jacks, headphone jack and 4 phono sockets. The machine could have had a remote control unit but I never bought that and so it is not included here. I hope someone can fix the problem(s) and give this machine a new lease of life - it deserves it!

Versteigere hier ein Philips D6920 MK2. Ich habe Ihn getestet das einzige was nicht geht ist das vor-und rckspulen. Wei aber nicht woran es liegt weil so spielt er die Kassette normal ab. Habe sogar ein Video davon. Nicht das es spter heist er ist defekt. Ich sicher mich immer ab. Wie gesagt Aufnahme konnte ich nicht testen. Achso Batterie Fach ist auch vorhanden konnte es nicht teste die Batterie nicht vorhanden. Keine Garantie und keine Rcknahme Viel Spa beim bieten
