Amplifier is a great example and in fair condition for age no dinks or scratches. A little wear mark on edges, see photo. Rear label starting to peel a bit All inputs could do with a re solder and some work ok others need a wiggle sometimes, tape is a bit glitchy Collectable early model with headphone Jack and luminous text when switched on, hence price Powers up, tested with CD player and speakers. Sublime quality. Casing has been re prayed in its past.

A very nice example of one of the best British amplifiers of the 80s. The Cyrus Two is one of the most highly regarded amplifier designs of the 80s, winning Awards from Hifi Choice and What Hifi? amongst others. There were 3 series and this is the 3rd and most desirable version with die cast alloy shell, toggle power switch and dual volume/balance knob. It has an excellent MM/MC phono stage, 4 line ins and is rated at 50W RMS per channel. Check out the write up and vintagesonics com. This one has been cleaned inside and out, had dust blown out of the up facing phono sockets and had the controls and connections treated with premium switch cleaner. It has some signs of use but is in good overall condition. Cyrus PSXR2 Power supply for amp or signature phono stage boxed. new 03/23. Bought new from Vickers hifi so it is hardly broken in. Unfortunately I had a slight mishap when setting it up and there are 3 small paint chips and light scratch on the front. If I was keeping it I would touch up the paint chips but it doesn’t impact on function. Bought with signature phono but purchase of new amp with integrated phono means this is now for sale. Almost new but priced to reflect cosmetic condition.
