Ich verkaufe umständehalber meinen Cambridge Audio CXA80 HiFi Verstärker, Farbe schwarz. Das Gerät ist ein klasse spielendes Gerät mit vielseitigen Anschlussmöglichkeiten. Ich habe ihn z.B. auch an meinem PC (über USB) angeschlossen und konnte so Internet Radio und Musikdateien in einer sehr guten (Hifi-)Qualität abspielen und anhören. Natürlich nimmt er auch andere Audioquellen wie CD Player und Network Streamer. Mit einem Supra Lautsprecherkabel an den Verstärker bzw. Lautsprechern ausgestattet spielt er sehr räumlich und druckvoll. Da das Gerät in meiner Zweitanlage im Arbeitszimmer lief, ist es wenig zum Einsatz gekommen. Erworben habe ich es 10/2018. Das eigentliche Kernstück des CXA80 ist sein hochwertiger integrierter Digital-Analog-Wandler. Dieser basiert auf dem WM8740 Hochleistungs-DAC-Chip von Wolfson mit 24 Bit / 192 kHz, das gleiche Modell wie im CXN (Network Streamer). Es kommt auch heutzutage noch nicht so häufig vor, dass ein Vollverstärker von Grund auf für digitale Quellen konzipiert ist. Cambridge Audio jedoch hat die Zeichen der Zeit erkannt, wodurch der mit ca. 1?100 Euro recht günstige CXA80 auch als Einzelgerät viele Abnehmer finden dürfte. Die Anschlussvielfalt reicht vom symmetrischen XLR-Eingang, vier Sätzen Cinch-Eingängen und einem frontseitigen 3,5-mm-Klinke-AUX über Koaxial-In und zwei optischen Eingängen bis hin zu einem asynchronen USB-Audioeingang, um Musik direkt vom PC oder Mac aus genießen zu können. Das Verbindungs- und Herzstück der CX-Serie ist der Vollverstärker CXA80, weil alle Fäden in ihm zusammenlaufen. Und tatsächlich gaben sich die Ingenieure beim CXA80 besonders viel Mühe. Eine optimale Kanaltrennung stand ganz oben auf ihrer To-Do-Liste und so spendierten sie dem CXA80 symmetrische und vollständig voneinander getrennte Trafo-Stufen, duale Gleichrichter und sogar separate Netzteile für jeden Kanal.
