Ideal as a rectifier for Leak, Armstrong, Pye, Fisher or Scott or Heath valve amplifiers that employ a GZ34, although the GZ37 is slightly more rugged. These are the tall ST bulb type and were first introduced in 1958. A very robust rectifier capable of delivering 500Volts at 250MA ST shoulder type with a large 1-inch Bakelite base.
