With both units connected to an A/B switch being fed the same CD source going to the same speakers you would have a hard time telling which is which. Refurbished & Calibrated by a 30yr Tech with lots of crown experience. Normally we replace the large power supply caps but this unit saw very little usage and tested as good as new, so we left them in. We replaced all the electrolytic capacitors and trimmer pots for bias & DC balance. The last of these Series II units made around 1980 had a couple improvements over the earlier Series II, so I put Series III in the title just to get your attention. These later units had improved input circuitry and adjustable transistor bias trim pots, so you could dial it right in right in the middle of the range, so that if slight changes happened over the next few decades, it would most likely still be in tolerance.
