Remember this works only if your speaker wires are over 30 ft long going to the other rooms or out into the yard, thus the Outdoor in the title. You can easily verify this using an impedance meter (not an ohm meter) Connect your 3 or 4 pair of speakers to your speaker switch box, then connect meter to the amp in connection. Engage all speaker switches, it will not go below 4 ohms. However, even driving 4 ohms at medium to loud volumes requires a beefy amp like this one. While the MC152 amp will do the same, the owners treat their $ 3,500 amp like a prima-donna and would be scared to even attempt such a feat, making it virtually useless in such applications.
