Buy My Creek Audio Evolution 100A Integrated Amplifier The Amp is in perfect working order and excellent cosmetic condition. This is an amazing unit that served me well for several years. It is small, but very powerful and provides big sound for any streamer. Its small size makes it perfect for any audio cabinet, but can fill the largest room with sound. It has balanced XLR inputs to attach a high quality DAC or equalizer. It also has a nice headphone output. There is a Phono input as well, but to use it fully you must add the SEQUEL PHONO board or Creek also makes a stand along phono pre amp unit. These additional items are NOT included with the Evolution 100A. You can find many of these phono accessories for a good price on eBay and from the manufacturer. The unit was housed in a cool, dry audio cabinet in a smoke free home. Unlike most high end high fi items, this looks sleek and brilliant. The front panel features a large OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display. The white on black display provides higher clarity and resolution than a normal display and has a wide range of customised graphic symbols. Display brightness levels can be changed or turned-off, if not required, via the menu system. At the heart of any high-end amplifier there must be a good power supply; The EVOLUTION 100A uses a massive 360 Watt, low profile, toroidal mains transformer, with multiple windings for high and low voltages and current, to separate the power amp, pre-amp and digital circuitry. Creek’s long-standing design policy of paralleling several small capacitors in the power supply creates an ultra-high specification capacitor, with low inductance and ultra low impedance. This significantly improves filtering and helps produce a very powerful and accurate sound from such a relatively small amplifier.
