Winged Emblem Collins KWM-2 Transceiver. I picked this up at an estate sale. I am not an expert in ham radios. This unit is in very good cosmetic condition, I believe it will be hard to find one that cosmetically looks as good as this one, as in the photos. It powers up and sounds like it is receiving on all bands, see attached video, I do not have an antenna. I have no way to test it it further. It appears to have all of the original crystals installed, as in the photos. There is a speaker mounted into the top cover and plugged directly into the orca output in the back. This sale is for the KWM-2 transceiver only exactly as in the photos. I also will be listing the 516F-1 power supply separately and may be able to combine shipping. Clean and working Collins KWM-2A transceiver. Tested on air and on the bench. Has full power out on all bands. Good receive sensitivity. This radio has the Waters Q-multiplier/Notch filter unit installed. The Q multiplier has a B&W logo on the plate however all my research indicates that these were designed and marketed by Waters for Collins. (disclaimer, I am not a Collins Expert, however this unit is definitely a Collins approved item, there are technical supplements from Collins detailing the installation of this unit in Collins radios) The Waters unit was designed specifically for Collins to match the KWM/75S series radios and is a Collins approved modification. The radio has a jack on the chassis marked Q Multiplier specifically for this unit.
